Its been something that ive been trying to corner with not such luck. Ive seen the HOSS suspension video that talks about this amazing package especially with the Sasquatch package. So I'm wondering how much plug and play there will be from going to a base to a more capable kit. It would help tremendously to know what your getting in the Base, Big Bend, and Outer Banks vs the Badlands, Wild Track, and FE. I know i left out Black Diamond, because i know its more capable, but was trying to simplify the differences (specifics) example, shock and spring size. If anyone has a link to this info, could you please list it for my own research as well as anyone else that is thinking of going aftermarket without getting BIGFOOTED.

Also if anyone has found a article or pictures of the base suspension, that eludes me as well.

thanks.

If it’s like any other vehicle on the road, the difference will lie in the dampers and springs (coilovers in this case). You may have different control arms with BL and/or Sasquatch, but I highly doubt it. Not to mention, a tubular or billet upper arm will probably be part of most higher end lift kits to help you regain proper geometry.

I suspect a lot of BL/Sasquatch take offs will be on the market for the OBX and lower models to swap in if you so choose.

From base suspension to Sasquatch will be 100% bolt on. The Warthog will likely be the only version with different mounting points. You will be able to order everything necessary to take a base suspension to a Sasquatch. Once these hit the street Tasca Parts will have everything online. You will likely be able to do it for less money through the aftermarket. Fox, King, Icon, Sway-A-Way, and others will have suspension kits.

The beauty of the Sasquatch package is all the heavier duty driveline components that will be needed to turn 35's (or larger) .... all for 5 to 7k.
Seems steep, but it is the right way to do these things if you're actually going to wheel it ...... and maintain the factory warranty.
You won't come close to touching that at those prices.
BUT ....
...if all your looking for is the lift so you can slap on some 35's or 37's, then yes, I'd guess you can get some pretty decent kits for less than $5k.

Maybe be have a look at Ranger kits to get a rough idea. Keep in mind, the new Ranger (2023?) will be based around the Bronco frame, not the frame they are currently using.

The Bronco is important enough that they are redesigning the Ranger around it, not the other way around as many believe.

I've been looking at the FOX website under the Ranger offerings. There will be lots of options from mild to wild, and by the looks of it, maybe sooner than later.

Any luck with this stuff? I am looking into it now and I believe I am going with a Black Diamond. I want to know what the difference is between the HOSS system in the base, BB, BD, OBX and the HOSS system in the BL, WT, FE, and Sasquatch. Is the stock HOSS system just a fancy acronym for the same suspension they would use on a truck/SUV or is it a serious off-road setup just minus the Bilstein shocks/dampers and beefy tires?

Thanks!

I haven't found a solid comparison so far.
I ended up just adding the sasquatch package to my build. From what I've seen so far there are pros and cons to doing the entire suspension from anything below the HOSS. You can go with a higher end lift all around aftermarket, or you can nickel and dime it. I fear the system integration with the head unit or Vehicles computer will have work arounds that may seem wonky compared to factory. That is why I ultimately went with the Sasquatch. From Base to Badlands, you truly get what you pay for. I guarantee you that people will be dropping sasquatch parts to upgrade as well. So maybe be on the lookout for marketplace next year? If you plan on going that route.

and, sorry for not answering your question.
