Going to places with the roof off

Curious... when you guys are planning to go to places with the roof off, are you planning on leaving the car unlocked?

And.. randomly... should the 2.3L engine be sufficient for a daily driver with no off road? Or will the engine last longer if it’s the 2.7L?
