Good News - Build Date Moved Up For First Edition Bronco Orders

Mine was week of 8/16 then got an email tonight that it was changed to next week!!

This is happening almost exclusively to FE.
I think they decided to build a bunch of FE, so they were moved up and other trim levels were moved back.

Yes my black diamond has bee moved from the 16th to the 30th

My FE has been "Produced" since 7/16. I had a delivery window from 8/5-8/11 then moved to 8/7-8/13 and now they removed it completely. Unreal!

It’s good news for FE holders not for everyone else. This shows that Ford is realizing they better crank out what they said will only be built in 2021. I’ve been saying it for a while now they better focus on the FEs. With the top situation being so fucked I can see only FEs and soft tops being produced for the rest of the 21 MY.

I'm seeing others are getting non FE trims moved up as well. Whatever was going on may have been worked out.

Received an email for my listed Wildtrak build in my sig. Moved form 8/16 to 8/9 on Monday. We will see if that stays, or if it matters at all.

I reserved my FE early first day, converted to order as soon as it was possible and haven't heard another word from Ford since then. My dealer says I am priority 1 but I have no production week, VIN or anything that says Ford knows I exist since they took my deposit.

Anyone else in this boat? Is there someone at Ford I should be contacting since my dealer just tells me to be patient?

This isn't good news AT ALL.

Moving FEs up, moving all non-FE orders scheduled back to the last week on the schedule (8/30), then saying that they're going to schedule for that week (undoubtedly more FEs). This means that they don't have confidence that they're going to have enough MIC tops to even build what's already scheduled along with outstanding FEs.

My BL, MIC, Sas, 2.7, Lux, Leather, 4door was reserved before most of the FEs (day 1, hour 2) and should be going down the line right with them as the build is the same (basically an FE without the FE stickers).

This is terrible news for everyone without an FE! I have no doubt that they're going to schedule the remainder FEs very soon and I'm going to keep getting bumped.

Exactly how it should be. If you ordered a First Edition, you should get it first or at least mostly before other orders are filled. That's mostly the point of a First Edition as I see it.
