Spent a lot of time shifting. More than I ever did when I had a manual. This confirms my choice of an automatic with the 2.7L

By the way he was driving, he was doing it for the sake of shifting coupled with editing made it excessive. Multiple times he'd slow down then accelerated hard up to the Bronco ahead of him.Spent a lot of time shifting. More than I ever did when I had a manual. Good to know. We have an ST and was wondering how this worked. In my focus st, there was just a plastic tube that piped it into the cab from the engine bay. You can just yank it out or hook it back up if you wanted the noise again. Very easy but unfortunately there wasn’t a setting in the sync menu to disable it
if i remember correctly, the plastic tube was close to the clutch master cylinder under the hoodGood to know. We have an ST and was wondering how this worked.
agreed, great observation. also noticed that he doesnt seem to have to reach far to shift. One thing I noticed while he was driving, was the left arm just resting easily on the top of the door. He never mentioned it, but I believe other reviews have talked about that. I know it's a little thing, but it's the little things like that I enjoy seeing.
"...and well executed..." LMAOThis is the best video to date (IMO) that details the manual 6MT with Crawler Gear. FWIW - I think he does a very good job describing the character of various manual transmissions in different types of cars/trucks.
I am still not sure whether to get a Badlands with 33's or Big Bend with Sasquatch.....? Can't wait to drive one & I would not even consider the Bronco if it were not offered in a manual.
