Good times.. coolant everywhere after just 140 miles (2.7 engine)

Got a whole 140 miles and this happens lol siiiigh. Hopefully an easy fix but no matter it’s still SUPER disappointing.. texted my dealer just waiting to hear back…
Dang, coolant is EVERYWHERE. UGH.

There was a thread on this issue that the coolent hose sits to close to the pulley and can rub threw you need to take a zip tie and move it away from the pulley

I mentioned it to my dealer as well. We checked under the hood and followed the coolant line. It appeared ok. But apparently I didn't look low enough into the vehicle. I was only checking the hoses at the top.. Going to check it out tonight

Damn! I was hoping this issue was old news but I guess Ford has not issued a notice to dealers to look out for it. Dumb.

152K miles and goin strong honestly so glad I still have it as a back up right now!

Me too. @Seanette and I intend to put together a kit of assorted stuff to take with us when we go to pick up our Bronco, and zip ties are among the stuff we'll take. We'll figure it out in more detail as the day gets closer.

Hopefully, this is a bug from the original 2021 model year “beta test” version of the Bronco, that will be corrected by the time my 2022 gets built, but as bugs go, this seems to be an easy one to fix.
