Just completed a 6500km (4000 miles) trip from New Brunswick, Canada to Florida and back. Got 11.8 lit/100kms (19.93 mpg) on the 3500kms (2175 miles) from home to Florida and some additional driving while there. Return home roughly 3000kms or 1850 miles, Averaged 12.6 lit/100kms (18.667 mpg / 75mph).

Usually had cruise set at 75mph and of course less and maybe bit more at times😁. All in all happy as the same trip was done a few times with our 2015 4Runner limited and best it averaged was around 13 lit/100 and was on 31.6 inch stock tires. Definitely more fun driving the bronco and time will tell if it holds up to near Toyota quality.

GTK! Thanks for the research. I get the best mileage on freeway with premium gas and keeping it at or under 1,8k RPM. Not always easy to manage.

Thanks!
I leave in a few weeks for a 3000 mi. road trip.
So now I can estimate how much this is going to cost LOL!!!
Just saw your trip posted. When you're in Sioux Falls, make sure you go to the Falls themselves. And while you're there, you should hit up a place called Taphouse 41. Little place in a strip mall that has great food. ROAM also is a good place.

Make sure you hit up WALL, South Dakato before you head into the Badlands. Great Bison Burgers and shakes/ice cream.

The MPG (L/100km) gauge is hopeful at best. It is always 0.5 to 1 mpg better than actual. Take the miles divided by the actual gallons purchased (as long as it is a full tank) to get the real result

That's really surprising mpg. I live in Florida so all flat terrain same 2.7 and the 33"s on a 2dr but never beat 16mpg. Of course, my MPH certainly averages more the 75 on I-95 so maybe that's that culprit.

...and yeah, I wish we used metric here too - makes so much more sense. Canada wins there.

My daily driver, 2dr 2.7l Sasquatch computer says 15.6 MPG @ 78MPH interstate and beating everyone at the lights in town. Tip to Kentucky off road park, 700 miles with cruise set at 75MPH, computer said 18.6 MPG for the total trip.
