Just completed a 6500km (4000 miles) trip from New Brunswick, Canada to Florida and back. Got 11.8 lit/100kms (19.93 mpg) on the 3500kms (2175 miles) from home to Florida and some additional driving while there. Return home roughly 3000kms or 1850 miles, Averaged 12.6 lit/100kms (18.667 mpg / 75mph).

Usually had cruise set at 75mph and of course less and maybe bit more at timesšŸ˜. All in all happy as the same trip was done a few times with our 2015 4Runner limited and best it averaged was around 13 lit/100 and was on 31.6 inch stock tires. Definitely more fun driving the bronco and time will tell if it holds up to near Toyota quality.

Actually 19.977492 on the trip there. And you got the 18.667 correct on return trip from florida

0.621371192 x 100
= 62.1371192

62.1371192 Ć· 0.264172052
= 235.214583562382

235.214583562382 Ć· (L/100km) = U.S. mpg

235.214583562382 Ć· (L/100km) = U.S. mpg
235.214583562382 Ć· 11.8 = 19.9334392849476
11.8 L/100km = 19.9334 U.S. mpg

edit: in all seriousness this is better mileage then i anticipated, makes me happy.

yeah I rounded it to 3.11 not 3.117 so that would be 19.93xxxxx. Stand corrected. Just not used to Americans being able to do the calculations for litres or any other metric measurements. I still prefer mpg and mph and would gladly get rid of metric as Iā€™m old compared to most now in my second half of life. All the best. But the metric gallon would make it 23.49mpg which sounds better with our 8 dollar a gallon gas here in fairy land

i love metric and it's easier, wish we would just do it. still pleased on the performance, assumed it would be in the 16-17s for highway!

Sure. Went basically around the major eastern centres as Iā€™ve been there done that and hate the new york-Philadelphia Washington DC mess. So I stick to the 84 after Massachusetts all the way to 81 down 77 through NC and SC them over the 26 to the 95 rest of way until I get a chance at st Augustine to hit the beautiful A1A the rest of the way to Flagler beach. Then itā€™s relaxation for two weeks on the beach, of course a few trips to some local outdoor dining establishments. I really hammer down and drive with a mission to arrive in 30 hours from the time I leave home. Spend one night in nh or Maine on way home. Weather was sunny and warm for all but 3 or 4 hours one afternoon. Couldnā€™t have been happier considering weā€™d been waiting for close to 2 1/2 years to finally take this twice yearly trip. Looking forward to doing it again in November. .

That's really gettin' after it, on your way home! How'd you find the seat comfort in the Wildtrak? I did a 5000 mile trip back in Feb/Mar with around 85 hours of seat time. The MGV did not give me any kind of fatigue whatsoever. That trip in November should be a lot of fun with the range of weather you'll see. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah I didnā€™t have anymore discomfort than with the 4Runner in past. Iā€™m used to my 3500 ram big axx seat and taller sitting position but all in all it was fine. I have some lower disc issues so we have power seats in all vehicles to make it better. The fall trip is nice as the leaves give such a nice scenery on the trip though the various mountain areas. Usually donā€™t have much terrible weather as we usually donā€™t even get snow until later in December now. But the bronco will handle it fine and im more than used to driving in the crappy weather as Iā€™ve been through 35 years of it now.
