Agreed. To me these are more for folks who don’t like the standard tail lights OR damage their signature lights and don’t want to pay $1k

There are those of us looking to replace the garbage stock (base) Halogens. Or at least considering it. I really like the look of the flush lights from Oracle. I might pick them up the next time they go on sale. Looks upgrade AND function upgrade for $400, I'll consider, but still not a slam dunk.

I didn't like the clear version because it had chrome internals. They would have been super cool back in 2001 .
