GOT A CALL FROM MY DEALER ABOUT THE BRONCO

Today we received a call from our dealer that he received a few F150s and a Bronco (my tail started wagging right away), of course, not ours but a mannequin for the showroom. It's a Badlands.
He also said we could take it for 72 hours.
I'm sitting here biting at the bit because we have a few friends coming from out of town tomorrow and I can't go get it.
I'm going to reserve it for next week.
Getting closer to seeing one in real life.

2. You have some better way to entertain your out of town guests than the most exclusive ride in town? Top off, weather's fine? If I were visiting you, I'd prefer the Bronco to whatever else you've got planned. Just saying.

We are at our farm and have all kinds off road conditions, from hill climbs to ditches and forest trails.
It's also been pouring rain today and maybe tomorrow (over two inches so far).
I can wait till Tuesday, it makes more sense.

I just talked with the wife and she told me to go there tomorrow; as the dealer is having an unveiling party at noon and she would wait for our friends.
Sounds like I will be seeing a live one tomorrow for the first time.

We're pretty good customers. We bought our 2020 GT500 Shelby, a 50th anniversary 2015 Mustang GT convertible and a 2019 F250 in two years.

I hope my dealer calls me and tells me the same thing when his comes in. I know he’s on this forum. You hear that dealer “x”. 72 hours

I got a call myself and at first he told me that because I have a 2 door and hard top I was pushed to 2022/2023. I told him I had a vin number already and apologized. He said I was correct and set for production Aug 13th. Man I felt prison raped and then happy. Ford sure screwed the dog on this one.

I'm going tomorrow to the unveiling and to reserve it for Tuesday. You never know, I might take it tomorrow after getting sh%& from the forum.
It really would make more sense for Tuesday as I will be able to really use it for the 72 hours.
The 72 hours idea came from the owner of the dealership and I know he means it.
This is a very small country dealer that does not even have a showroom (will be building a new building/showroom soon).
When our Shelby got there after 14 month wait the whole dealership was outside watching it come off the truck. The even hired a drone to video the whole event.
We got their only GT500 allocation. And it was the most expensive car they ever sold. Not a truck.

Went to see the unveiling at our dealer and they had it closed in a tent until 12 noon. There were about 30 people. As they were opening the tent the driver turned the boom box on and boomed his way out.
I'm picking it up on Tuesday and dropping my truck off for service. I can have it for 72 hours.

Outer Banks four door with the soft top and the 2.7 engine with the 12" screen and the optional B&O sound system. I'm going to try to post pictures but I'm not sure if I can.
This Bronco is available to test drive any time. They can't sell it for 6 mo. or 6000 miles.
But the owner of the dealership told me they may raffle it for charity or his father will keep it in his collection.
