I had a 2019 4Run TRD offroad premium, all good except at elevation, like above 5000 feet it was USELESS, no power what so ever. Choose to ride a twinturbo with umpf, or a dated old breather that you almost have to push above 9000😁

I've never had a 4 Runner, but several Toyotas. The engines would run forever, but the the rest of the vehicle was straight garbage. Knobs falling off, windshield wipers breaking off...

Coming on a Bronco forum and talking about how awesome Toyota is vs Bronco 🤣

All 4runners have seat warmers standard
They also drive like a school bus, are underpowered, and have a ridiculously low amount of head room. But hey, "It''s No Bronco!" :ROFLMAO: Kidding aside, hope you are enjoying your new ride.

I cross-shopped the 4Runner. Even rented one for a week long vacation. Really liked it. Thought it was a bit under powered and that 5 speed needed at least 2 more. If I could take the roof off I might have even bought one.

Bronco does have issues and there are many, many threads discussing them. Mic top and 2.7 issues among others.

But you did come into a Bronco forum stating you got yours but “it’s no Toyota 4 Runner”.
I don't see an issue with somebody comparing the Bronco to a prior off-road vehicle. Ford isn't known for quality or reliability, and that's a fair criticism. It would be great if Ford could build a vehicle like this as well as Toyota could. Some folks will get their Bronco and be underwhelmed. To each their own.

I've had a 4Runner and 4 Tacomas, and would never be without at least one of them because I know I'll be able to keep a Toyota for decades and still enjoy it. Won't stop me from enjoying the Bronco, but you don't need to snark everyone who doesn't share your devotion. We can all be chillllll.

The Bronco is not refined. Luxurious? I have a loaded BL but it's still a bumpy, noisy off-road vehicle first and foremost. And it's way more fun than the "refined" vehicles I had before it. I was just having a goof at you calling a 4Runner refined. Enjoy your Bronco...or don't. It's not for everyone and it's far from perfect. I'll keep enjoying mine!

I'm sure.

the V-6 produces an intake roar that will make you nostalgic for the 1990s. The five-speed automatic transmission—yes, it really does have only five speeds—shifts sluggishly and hunts around on the highway, meaning it's difficult to make the most of the 270 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque. We got the TRD Pro model to 60 mph in 7.7 seconds, matching the acceleration of a 2019 TRD Off-Road model we tested. For reference, turbo four-cylinder versions of the Bronco and Wrangler are significantly quicker.

I think potential Bronco buyers need to do their comparisons before purchasing the Bronco. If you are buying a Bronco thinking it's going to be a "refined" SUV, then you did not do your homework! There is nothing refined about the Bronco, it's not supposed to be. For refined performance, I drive my 400 hp, 415 ft/lb of torque, 143 mph top speed all-wheel drive ST!

Looks like everyone is comparing things to a 4runner, god the amount of nonsense I have heard since day one of buying the 4runner, its an old design, its got body on frame construction, its dated, etc,

I love my bronco too !
It’s a touch partisan around here (slightly less than somewhere like Northern Ireland, but close) The part about loving it? It’s recommended that you lead with that.

Silly holes? Lol. They are called pinch welds. Every mass produced vehicle has them.
Are you trying to baffle me with BS, or is that what someone else told you, or do you just not see the silly holes and the ugly pinch welds ? I mean we know what they are called and the holes look really silly just sitting there, was that for an accessory so that you have to buy to cover the spot welds, they are just plain ugly, because every vehicle has them does that make it OK in some way I would say the same thing about any vehicle, sorry I forgot to lead in with I LOVE MY BRONCO !
