Got super glue on the dash 😭 Looking for advice

Do you think you can scrape it off with plastic razorblades? I've used them successfully in the past to remove similar types of contamination.

I would use it as a excuse to custom paint the dash. Let your imagination run wild!

Wow, all these years and I guess I misunderstood how super glue worked. I thought the whole point was that it attacked the plastic and basically melted it together. Not that it just stuck to both sides with a thin layer.

If it didn't actually melt the plastic, that I think that you'll be okay if you can find some concoction that will loosen and have it peel up so there is hope if that is the case.

Anything you're planning on trying should be tried on a less visible area first.

I see a lot of good ideas in this thread I'd just test them somewhere less visible before trying them, just my 2 cents.

Tonight’s progress. Getting better but still showing a little. Used an eraser and a cheapo Amazon steamer

Super glue works by melting the plastic.. it's not an adhesive glue. Unless it didn't attack that plastic, you are not going to be able to buff it out.

Some guy recommended Hellmans Mayo to get stickers off the soft top vinyl windows. Maybe it’ll work on this too lol

A slightly faded super glue stain… I’ve learned to live with it and have some worse blemishes after a year of ownership haha
