Hey all,
My dad and I were lucky enough to get up close and personal to two Broncos today: a Rapid Red 2-door Outer Banks, and a Black 4-door Outer Banks with a soft top. This was our first time seeing them in-person, and we were both left walking away impressed. We weren’t able to drive the 2-door, due to it being detailed to send to the Delaware County Fair. However, it’s non-Squatch stance looked great, and it sits higher than my Explorer. I know that the Navy Pier interior is hit-or-miss for some, but I dug the look of it.
We were able to drive the Black 4-door around town, and I found it to drive very comfortably. It didn’t wander on the road, and was very comfortable inside. The cloth seats were very supportive and fit us well. The V6 had plenty of power, and we were both impressed with how it accelerated. Another thing to point out is how quiet the interior was with the soft top. There was a very small amount of road/wind noise at 55 mph. Very impressive.
If anyone is wanting to see these Broncos in person, the Rapid Red 2-door is located in Manchester, IA at the Runde Auto Group dealership. The Black 4-door is in La Porte City, IA at Witham Auto Center.
