With a recent pictures posted today - this one of the grab handle makes me wonder what part will be exchangeable if you wanted to swap out the blue for another color.

Almost looks like you are tied to the dash color with that part. Guess one wont know till someone unbolts it.. The "grab" portion looks to be an entirely separate part from the "bolted" part.

I think you're right in that the dash color/texture is part of the grab handle

There are people discussing swapping Badlands and Black Diamond grab handles but I think it'll look off with the different dash texture.

I wonder if after removing the 4 "Bronco" bolts, the piece with the blue stripe can be removed from the rest of the handle? That way, the blue could be changed to something else while keeping the match to the rest of the dash.

I asked for better pics of it on BN.

From the pre-prod pics the grab handles look identical other than accent color.

the textures were not final so who knows at this point

I will either be moving it, masking around the blue area, and painting mine to match my exterior (Cactus Grey). Or I’ll wait for someone to start selling custom colored vinyl overlays lasercut to the exact shape/size.

I am embracing the colors however obnoxious they may be.

I inherited my dad's 2003 Harley, custom ordered 100th anniversary Road King Classic. My dad barely modified it. I went to a Quaker Steak and Lube event several years ago. There were many people that stopped and looked at it. The bike was over ten years old and basically stock. I guess they hadn't seen a stock Harley.

I was also riding it one day and had a guy at a stoplight motion to me. He said the bike sounded really good and wanted to compliment the exhaust. The exhaust was stock.

I plan to keep mine stock. At one point stock will be unique.

Oh, cool. Good to hear. Because in the pics you posted before, the BL has a textured dash (and grab handles), and the BD doesn't. Are they the same color of gray?

Agreed that’s why I wasn’t certain because they were mismatched in pre-prod pics from the materials video.

I believe they are both dark cactus gray but I’ll have to look that up later

So I watched the BN colors and materials walk through again here’s what they said:

Barb -
BD: Dark Space Grey IP topper
sinister black mid panel

Missy -
BL: Dark Cactus IP topper
Sinister black mid panel

I tend to believe Missy misspoke and the BL has the same IP topper color as BD. Looks the same to me in all the pics. Would save them money not having another variation too. But who knows at this point?

But the vent handles need to be changed as well. Don't those have the color also?
