I ordered a base 4 Dr Sasquatch on 10/5/20, from Granger Ford during their 2k under invoice promo. Since then, I’ve reordered with them at every opportunity, at least 3 times. In January 2023, Ford emailed that if we removed constraints (in my case Sasquatch) we would get $2500 off and a quicker build date. I was able to change the order on 1/20/23. I put my $500 down and placed the order which was scheduled for a build 3/27/23.

The bronco came in and Granger said I owe $35,334, after the down payment and with the doc fee and title fee. I explained that the invoice price was $32,702 in 2021, so I should be at $30,702 before destination, but adding the PCO, down payment, fees etc, I would be at $29,677. They have said they did locate a $2500 PCO, but since I moved since 2020 and have a new zip, it can’t be applied and I need to request it from Ford. They have indicated there are no other promotions and I’m not eligible for price protection. This is my only Bronco and I never missed a deadline. Has anyone else had this same issue? I find it hard to believe a zip code is what determines eligibility for the PCO and that I don’t qualify for price protection. I had none of these issues with a Lightning I got from Granger in December, price protection, PCO and under invoice promos were applied no problem.

Ford will only reimburse them if everything matches. Being your transition offer is wrong, you need to contact Ford and have things corrected.

You need to change the title. It is very misleading as to your specific situation. People might read this and over react. This is a Ford stipulation not Granger.

What did Ford say?

The private offer is indeed tied to your name and zip code, so if you moved at some point it will not appear. They should still be able to look it up under your old zip code though.

And I guarantee if you call Ford’s customer service they’ll just redirect you back to the dealer. But no harm in trying.

As far as Granger’s pricing, I’m not touching that with a 1000-foot pole. That’s between you and Granger. I had assumed it was $2000 below invoice based on the vehicle that was delivered and not $2000 below invoice on the original order. But I could be wrong.

Granger advised I had no PCO. I took issue and they asked if my zip had changed. Yeah, you have all my orders and updated info. Has no one else ordering from Granger moved addresses in 3 years? They have been no help with trying to sort out the price protection, other than to say they don’t see the offer. Ford customer service is referring me to the dealer. I’ve received no calls from Granger and calls to them go unanswered.

Then put that you changed zip codes in the title. Anyone reading the title alone is going to think they are just not honoring it. That isnt fair to them and it is very misleading.

Ford controls the PCO. When you call Ford, ask to talk to Marketing about your price protection certificate number. You want Marketing. The regular customer service people will just point you back to the dealership.

I am fairly certain my model year transition offer is also under my old address. When I called Ford to get the certificate he found it but mentioned it was under my old address.

isn’t there a process for the dealer to request it get updated?

I have my offer by contacting Ford marketing myself. Also got the number tied to it but haven’t tried to apply it to the truck yet. Moved 3x since the original order and Ford found it on my original zip code. Also told Granger I moved each time I did.

Fair enough. It looks like a mod already added it.

I had a similar issue because I moved since placing my reservation. Granger told me to contact ford, gave ford my old address, and ford provided me with the certificate. Ez pz

did you pick yours up already? So you just gave them the number and no issues?
