21MY deliveries are possible, especially if the reservations were made in early October. For example, 190,000 reservations X 35% conversion rate = 66,500 orders, which is close to the build capacity for 21MY. It really depends on order conversion rate and commodity constraints.

If my August order isn’t early 22’ I’d be stunned. I’ve always figured my October 1st would be roughly March-May of 22’. Who knows, gotta see how this plays out. I put in my August to see what happens and if and when it becomes a 22’, I’ll have the choice of what order to use for 22’. If Ford is cranking them out and the August is late 21’ then I’ll probably go with October and the extra $700. If they’re struggling and we’re talking mid 22, I dunno if I want to wait.
Depends on what you order. I am early October, probably right around the halfway point in line. Let's call it 55% and assume it is pretty close to that nationwide. 200k reservations give or take. Say there is a 50% take rate, that makes 100k orders. Originally Ford granted around 30% of reservation numbers as allocations to be massaged later, that means they expected to get out about 66k vehicles at a minimum. With 100k orders, that gets 66% or 2/3rds of all orders in the country done in 2021. That would be deep into October Granger orders. If the take rate is 70% nationwide, goes to 43% of all orders in 2021, so not really in the cards for Granger October People. Now... Back to what you ordered; using me as an example, I'm getting a manual (and forced into the 2.3). It is bullshit, but here we are. 75% of the converted reservations are for the 2.7l. that means that in the 70% conversion rate scenario I would be number 140k x 0.55 or 77k folks ahead of me. Except that they run out (or are not ready in time) of the 2.7 for a month in total. Then means 75% of the 77k people in front of me are skipped. That makes me about 19K in line for that month. Then I would be in. Point is, depending on what you order and what is on hold (or combination of things on hold), there might be some people with November and December orders who get a '21 (not many). It really is wide open if your particular combination is not constrained when your number comes up. If conversion is in the mid 30% range like I think it will be, even with constraints, most everyone will get a '21. Too many unknowns to guess what reservations dates will be built (or when) for the 2021MY, but I believe there is a solid chance that some of the Granger October reservations are filled by Thanksgiving.
