My understanding is that Montana does not charge sales tax on vehicles nor is there a yearly smog or inspection. Proof of residence can be satisfied in the form of an LLC formed in Montana.
So, some people (especially supercars) will buy through a Montana LLC to avoid paying the sales tax.

A regular Bronco Raptor would be roughly $92k MSRP and Invoice can be $2-3k below. Not counting the 2% below. That would be rough numbers.

I am sorry! We only received one allocation last year which was around $110k MSRP. Hard to say at this time until we receive an allocation.

Wow another reason to love Montana! I just hope it doesn't get trashed like Seattle and Portland. Great place for a Bronco.

They just bring in taxes in other ways, usually in states without a vehicle sales tax you have to pay a much larger license fee every year.

And income tax. Oregon has no sales tax, but those income taxes hit you HARD. All other thing s ring equal, I would much rather pay a sales tax than an income tax, because the former taxes consumption and the latter also taxes savings ... And generally speaking I am a significant saver. The last 2 decades have been brutal for savers and I have little sympathy for those complaining about high interest rates. Double them, I say

Well this year we did not receive any allocations for 2024 Broncos. We did receive 3 Bronco Raptor allocations this year. Hopefully we receive some allocations for 2025 models though!

It is unfortunate that we did not receive any allocations for 2024 models, but I am glad that Ford covered all of our reservation holders since 2020! Took 3 years for our customers, but had enough allocations so truly thankful! Very loyal customers, which is truly appreciated!
