I went up there twice this summer - once in June when the snow was still deep, and in July when it was covered in wildflowers.

Yankee Boy is a beautiful little trail. I haven't done it in years, but it was a good test for my stock 2nd gen 4Runner.

We went in July, it was our first trip in the new bronco. Couldn’t make it to the top, a young lady in a rental Jeep slid off the trail on a finger of snow and was blocking the trail. It took the rental company all day to get up to get her out. Very cool place for us to cut our teeth! Looks like a fun ride with the canon city crew! I can’t get the little wavy line above the n….
