Has anyone started a thread that consolidates all known issues currently with the bronco? Far as I'm aware, hardtop scaling/delam... Soft top rubbing, and an engine seizure. Anything else?

I guess i'll keep a running list for those who want a one stop shop. All info i'll gather on the site and post links to those threads. I will keep the issues logged by engine/trim to see if there is any consistencies. If something is wrong or I missed something post it.

Big Bend/ Outer Banks grill causing whistle: Fix on the way.
2.7 Engine seizure: warranty replacement
2.7 During GOAT mode test TCS warning lights came on: **need update**
2.3/2.7 Hardtop scaling: Assumed old tops will be free replaced
2.3/2.7 Soft top rubbing paint of bar: **Need update**

2.3/2.7 Soft top wearing out when opened/closed: **need update**

I keep hearing more complaints, problems and issues.
Windshields breaking/cracking
Windows constantly need reprogramming
Windows rattle.
Soft top rain flows into your lap
Soft top breaking tabs on windows
Hard top issues 1.0 and 2.0

Tow truck story. Less than 1000 miles and the engines stopped while driving. (Not worth the risk) Some valves, some computer/sensors stuff. Does it matter? Driving and your engine shutting down is not a good thing. Family safety is vital and this vehicle has a shitty record so far.

Hoses and bolts issues
Coolant leaks.

Paint issues, scraps and lack of paint.

Random codes being thrown.

I always liked Ford products, i really wanted one last manual transmission vehicle, before they go extinct. I think purchasing this will not be beneficial to my family.(Bronco should be in this week too)

I'm thinking the best thing to do at this point to is to pass on this vehicle.
Wait for it to get more reliable IN A FEW YEARS.

Purchasing this now will most likely be a headache later on.

I know first year models can often have issues, but there seem to be SO MANY of them with the Bronco. I hope they can get all of it sorted.

I also know there are probably tons of folks who have their Bronco and have no issues at all, so I know Ford is capable of building them reliably, they just need to do it consistently.

Items to check (based on Bronco6g OP feedback):
Pulley rub/ proximity next to radiator hose

Confirm SEVEN Quarts of oil filled, not six. Ref:
https:///forum/threads/bronco-team-engineering-confirms-7-0-quarts-for-2-7l-engine-oil-change-is-correct.29047/
Full tank of gas (we paid for it!)
Door bags
Strut on back window unglued from hardtop (why not drilled in??)
Check all three bolts in the fuse box for looseness

Turned the above into a Google Doc...updated frequently:

Door bags? Yeah, once I thought it was part of a package but now think the package included roof bags and no such bags for soft top.

But some glitches to add:

Key not recognized when it is truly in vehicle but vehicle still runs and drives

Snow or ice on Pre-collision assist sensor disables precolllision assist in icy-snowy conditions

Cannot remove fuel nozzle from flapper equipped fill pipe without losing a little fuel to atmosphere - gotta be an EPA issue

Your key recognition item...our Subaru will still run and drive, once its started even when the key is not near it. The Bronco won't start without the key near it, right?

I've been looking for something like this. A checklist for all of us to look for when we take delivery.

A few things to add from a previous list on here;

Windshield cracks/chips
Chips in top of door glass
Scratches in dash, console, and other plastic areas
Tire pressure (I've heard some tires have been left over inflated)

I appreciate the additions I need to edit the original post. Before I do can you supply or add detail to these? Especially the chips ultimately links to the posts would be preferred

I found this imperfection that I wanted to share so you all can check for this issue, too. On the inside of the door, passenger side, the rubber is not aligning with the plastic part (sorry don’t know the lingo). Dealer has ordered part and I need to schedule a repair once it comes in.

Also, I found what look to be QC stickers on the inside of the soft top, where it connects to the rear. I’m guessing this is why my rig was held up in QC, but not sure what it means. Anyone know what the issue may have been? Saw them when I went to remove the top. By the way, the soft top was surprisingly heavy to remove !

I initially posted this on the 10/25 group thread and thought I should re-post here. Anyone else have these issues?
