Ford claims a ground clearance of 11.5" for the Bronco with 35" tires, but does anyone know where this clearance is measured from on the truck?

The cupholder. It's measured to the bottom of the cupholder.

The lowest point. Most likely the pumpkin or a shock mount.

Listen I’m not Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting, but 11.5 with 35s, equals 8.5 for the Big Bend.

stock Subaru Forester is 8.7, with a very economical 2” lift, 10.7... less than an inch off a SAAAAAZZZZZQUAAAAAAATCCCCHHHH.

Tee hee...

How would a 2” lift raise your Subaru ground clearance from the diff by 2”? I’d like to see that magic....maybe try 4” bigger diameter tires to get there homie, but a suspension lift on your Forester gets you nada in ground clearance from the low point. Lift that Forester though brah...go ahead.

This horse got beat to death back in the summer when Ford released all the initial specs, but no, we don't know where they actually measured from. You can bet it wasn't the rear shock mount as they don't want numbers like that getting out.

Lots of research went into this. I’m sure there is a good reason why they settled on this ground clearance. Will it feel like driving so close to ground it could be a sedan. Haha. !
