Ground clearance / ride height

Given that ground clearance on most of these is not big, and similar to run of the mill family hauler SUVs, will seat height / ride height be similar to mid size suvs like explorers, tellurides, foresters, rav4s, etc ??? Or will it feel like you are riding higher up ??

we still dont know where they are measuring ground clearance from either. It could be from the diff or from somewhere else. I was under the impression that every vehicle manufacture did it slightly different.

The one photographed looks like it has a 3 inch lift. So that’s pretty damn impressive.

my explorer sits pretty low. It certainly appears to me that the non sas Bronco sits much higher.

Also, the 4-door models have one inch less ground clearance than the 2-doors, so that could also affect the seat height.

A Sasquatch was measured somewhere around 21.5" to the floor to get in the front seat. so your looking around 18" for the regular height. A normal SUV height is closer to 14". So its considerably higher.

On the Ford site, under trim > specs > capacity, for the 2-door Base, clearance is 8.4" and 12.6", non-squatch and squatch, respectively. For the 4-door, it's an inch lower.

My completely uneducated guess is that it's just a lot heavier, but I honestly don't know.
