I’d like to find something like this for hunting. I won’t know what’ll work until I can measure everything, but I hope for a ceiling mount solution.

This paired with the JCR overhead molle panel ‘d be a good option.

It looks like the "rake" isn't as severe as the factory rest. That means it doesn't piss off my wife as much AND hides a hand gun?! Win win.

I can show you how NOT to... But it didn't move at all over some pretty rough roads in search of mulies.

Still struggle to find a good transport option for my Garand. Rifle is 43.5”, case is 46”. Storage locker in back secures the cargo area, but the width is only 40” and even the diagonal is barely 46". Not enough wiggle room to actually fit.

How did you get it to fit? I ordered one and none of the black spacers would work. They were either too big or too small. And headrest (on drivers side) would be so loose and pull out so easy. I didn’t even try the passenger side with the safe.

I called up the company and told them it didn't fit and sent them the measurements of the OEM headrest post. They sent me a new set of post that were factory dimensions. Send the customer service am email.
