So I had a true George Costanza experience today. Driving down a rural road today, there was a mourning dove on the road on my side.
I was approaching around 50 mph and as I closed in, the bird wasn’t moving. And I thought this bird needs to move soon. I didn’t change speed or direction (really couldnt change lanes since there was only one lane each direction).
The bird took off but too late and it came right at me and I plowed right into it.
Bronco:1, bird:0

and to add insult to injury, I got a broken grill as well.

That happened to be with a Grouse once. Kept thinking they’ll move. Nope. Looked back and saw a puff of feathers. No damage to the car, though the next day we had Wasps everywhere until we got to a car wash.

At least it didn’t hit a mirror or headlight.

I have pigeons that like to live on the side of my house, I also have a husky that likes to catch them. I can confirm birds are real, and they bleed a whole lot…
You lie.
You’re part of the conspiracy.

A few years back, hit a big tumbleweed (or apparently it sounds like it must have been some government drone...who knew) on Hwy 87 in northeastern New Mexico. Blew up like party favor on impact but the dang thing left some serious damage to my grill. I feel your pain, OP.

well I have a $0 deductible so I don’t really care. And no I don’t slow down for birds or squirrels.
I will also be ignoring you in the future for your idiotic comment.
She's a squirrel-squashin', deer smackin' drivin' machine, Canyonero! Canyonero!

So what you're saying is, you broke your grill by being stupid? Most people might slow down for objects in their way, but then again you broke something on your Bronco. How cool is that? 🤦‍♂️
TF kind of comment is that? Do you slam the brakes every time you see an 8oz. critter on the side of the road? SMDH…
