While the Bronco v. Jeep debate will continue, at least it appears the Bud Light controversy has died down
Or is the slight dependent on said controversy? I find that more likely, unless this is a old pic.

Jeeps are better off the shelf for some stuff broncos are better off the shelf for some stuff. My wife has a 2014 that she loves she has had me build it up over the years to be (seem to be) a good off highway machine. She does not let it go off road. She loves how smooth my bronco rides and is considering a trade. She only wants a wash out interior with the vinyl seats. so $$$.

I have always liked Jeeps and never understood the Jeep/Bronco rivalry. I went to a Sunday “car show” event in the Austin area a couple months back and took my Raptor. Everything you can imagine there. There was an area where all the Jeep guys parked and there was 1 lone Bronco. So I thought, I will park next to these guys. Yeah, nope. I was made aware that parking there was reserved for “real offroad machines” and since mine was really clean, like it is most often because I prefer to take care of something I never in my life thought I would be able to afford, I don’t use it for its intended purpose. Ok, last point is fair, I don’t beat the $&?! out of my Bronco, but really? I had to bite my tongue because there were several things I wanted to point out, but I didn’t. I laughed and parked with all of the very welcoming low riders. 😂

I still appreciate a Jeep, but the owners are a different story. Plus I can’t imagine having that obligation to wave at other other Jeeps. There are 1000’s of them and it is all you would do while driving. I would have to get a collection of prosthetic hands and shape them in the form of all the Jeep waves and mount them on the dash somehow along with all my obnoxious rubber ducks.

Just remember not all clubs have the same culture.... They are all different, Jeep clubs, Bronco clubs, 4x4 clubs.... all of them have their own group dynamic. Some are ass holes and some are friendly and accepting.

I've never understood the Jeep affection/infection. You can be healed!

Around where I live we have the ToyoBros that are kinda like that. Although I dunno who has greater numbers, the Jeeps/Cherokees or the Tacomas/4Runners... both are pretty well represented around here.

I get waves every now and then from them, and I return it if I get waved at, or I see a rig that I think someone has sunk a lot of time and care into - I figure it's just an offroad thing, not necessarily a brand name.

Mustang and Camaro owners can tend to be the same way. I have a Roush Mustang convertible, and you don't dare park next to the Camaro groups at a Cars & Coffee.

I don't get that too much with the CTS-V, but there aren't any real rivalries with that car.
