Thatā€™s bad ass. Canā€™t wait to see it all done. Brace yourself for all the people that are about to lose it that you chopped up a first edition lol.
I'm somewhat in that camp because 2-door LB FE's are amazing but I love half cabs so I'll reserve my nasty comments šŸ˜

For you half cab lovers, Big Dick's Suspension has a series of build videos on their half cab fire truck Bronco here:

A bolt-in bulkhead that will divide the cabin from the bed. It will be watertight.
Are you going to have a bed cover?
I've got one on my '73 but the lift arms rattle to holy hell and I'm thinking of ditching it.

Kudos & applause for your vision & ability to execute that vision.
Do that thing you do & enjoy what you did!!!

From a practical viewpoint I just donā€™t it. From the second day I had my first pickup I realized ā€œOh heck, everything I own is outside exposed to the weather, and freely available for stealing by any jerk with 5 fingers.ā€ So I started looking at covers, shells, etc.

I guess it is all about looks & not practicality. Iā€™ll admit that it looks great!

I can't think of anything more practical for a Bronco than a bed outside the cab....... propane tanks, gas cans, wet dogs, chain saws, grass clippings, minnow buckets...........

Looks Sweet! It takes a lot of vision to do something like that.

Instead of a First Generation, Classic Bronco U14 Half Cab you now have a 6G U14. Well done!

Wow!

Curious to see how the new bed looks, along with weatherproofing solutions.

So you went without a cover? It does look better that way.
