Thank you for the response. Are you still offering military discount? I do not have any social media accounts for a dm.

If you remove the reinforcement, are there any scratches on the stock brackets?
I want a reinforcement like this both for bigger tires and mounting for accessories. But just wondering if I can move it to a different bronco if I replace mine. Or should it be left on to cover scratches :)
The only area where the bracket contacts the paint is under the plastic oem tire carrier. If you decide to remove the bracket this area will never be visable with the tire carrier in place.

Has anyone sourced a shorter shock for the tailgate?

Monsoon winds just sent my tailgate flying! The rotopax mount cracked the tail light reflector a little bit.
We’re still trying to source a shorter gas strut. So sorry to hear about your tail light. I’m looking forward to testing the flush mount twilights from oracle as a secondary solution

Just placed my order. And messed it up :)
Sent an email to the sales@ address under contact us about it.

Also placed an order. Cant wait to get this installed!
Ive seen some conflicting information concerning whether the hinge bolts are Torx or Torx plus. Anyone know for sure?

The hinge bolts are whatever comes in the case in the glovebox. When you do it be sure and wedge something in the tailgate side and bottom so keep the holes aligned. The hardware provided for install is not torx, so once removed you don’t have to worry about it again.

I used a torx+ out if my torx+ kit.... I tried it first. It seemed to fit perfectly with no wobble. So I just used it.

Hmm... I gotta find somewhere to get foam for the keeping alignment part there...
I used shims when I did it, cardboard like previously mentioned will also work.

Ok, Im really interested in getting this to actually just provide more general support for the tailgate as well as help the infamous popping/creaking noises that a lot of people are getting. Mine is just a regular BD though, so I'm really not wanting to look like some kind of off road poser by installing this and not hanging a 37" tire off of it. Decisions, decisions.

I don't think it would look out of place with a smaller tire.
That said, it would be nice to see some pics on a Bronco with 32s or 33s.
