A video from our local clubs new years day run, sorry no broncos in the vid - myself and a Wildtrack were part of a group of mostly jeeps. That is a ICE helicopter that has come in low over Kilbourne Hole to check us out (one of our destinations, about 10 miles north of Mexico border - it is an ancient volcanic crater) . One of our members is enthusiastically waving, but the ICE agents took his actions as a signal for help (or so they said ) and they ended up landing a 100 yards from us and walking over. One of them was interested in joining our club so our president gave him our contact info :

Nice! For years I have been told there are real safety issues from drug/human traffickers in Big Bend. What's your assessment?

Overblown hype - the biggest dangers in the area are inexperienced hikers going out with not enough water.
