Hard Top Parts availability for purchase from Ford parts?

Great, at one point when someone bought all the parts, things like the rear window, wipers, etc, weren't included. Just didn't want you to find out later you had a bunch of added expenses. Glad it's all included now. Old parts list is in post #2 here:

Can you share those pics and the price you were quoted?

This will give those an idea of piecemeal pricing from Fordparts.com. Note that the rear clamshell is from the 2-door as the one for the 4-door was not listed. This is for panels only and you would still need to buy all corresponding hardware, brackets, seals and glass.

Posted price above minus the shipping.....photos are on my work phone which I don't have now. Some dealers/warehouse will give you a discount if you open a business account with them. A local dealer I called when looking was was 1k more on part number M2DZ8502G33-CB. You just have to do a little more digging to get these things.

I can only tell you what they said, I just got of the phone with the sales guy. Complete top. I will update if it changes.

Our Ford Accessories zone manager had an update in his last email, they plan on having hard top accessory kits available Q3 of this year. They didn't announce pricing but said they are working with Dearborn to get that established

I heard the same timing from my local Ford Parts person as well.

You cannot get a fully completed top from Ford. It comes as a shell like mentioned.
The part number of the rear clamshell you posted (M2DZ-78502G33-CB) is only all the stuff with a yellow square in this picture. It doesn’t come with windows, rear glass, wipers or anything like that. There are a ton of additional pieces.

I don't know about that Ford pricing schematic. I just dropped off my Bronco this morning for top replacement due to side panels cracking. While I was talking to the service technician, I saw the dealer invoice price of the whole back section (not front t-panels) and the invoice price was right at $3,700.00 and change(can't remember the exact price, close to $3,800). And that is priced with pulling my windows out and putting them in new top. But they are in stock, and only took 9 days to get to dealer (Florida) from Detroit. The parts department was shocked on how quick it arrived.The whole back section was in a huge crate assembled. I went back with them to see it.

Following. My dealer (who i'm personal friends with the owner - i only say that because i think i'm getting the actual story.) told me feb to be able to buy a full top. That now seems unlikely, but hes confident that eventually there will be an option.

I don't know what to tell you.....this is the exact schematic they emailed me for the rear top and they are saying complete top with glass. If that changes I will update people. I'm just trying to help people find and get what they want.

Yes, just not as a complete top either. The frame, side windows, top cover, rear window and other pieces all come separately.

I started a thread about this recently. There have been others too. It seems to be more painful than it's worth at this point. My Bronco is at the dealer waiting for backorder part. Once it's back I'm going to take a look, but I suspect since it came with a hardtop, it will need a bunch of things to make a soft top work.

Ford just told people to get rid of all the hardtops on their builds to make sure they can finish building them. I just can't see Ford selling hardtops on the side after pissing everyone off. But then again its Ford

I haven’t received mine yet and now giving some serious thought to adding hardtop back and waiting it out. $6k+ for a top that’s a $600 option is crazy.

Just a gamble on whether it comes in before 2024 and I lose out on price protection. Even so, that’s only $2,800 for me.
