Today I saw a two door Bronco with the roof off, but the from roof panels on. Can the front roof panels secure without the roof on? Thanks

Yep, done several times, even at highway speeds. Would not recommend on 4-DR as the panel set up and securing system is a bit different due to the extra middle panel.

I have a 4dr and have put 8k miles on while riding with the 3 front panels on. On the Highway many times. It’s no issue at all.

I call it "golf kart" mode. Its great for trips to bodies of water in the heat since you're still in the shade. It also feels better to drive.

I've found it to work really well, and it looks awesome. With windows up it is very quiet, almost like the full top is on. Even at highway speeds 80mph.

At first I was skeptical because the middle panel looses its rear hold downs, and you can actually move the back of it up and down a little bit if you try. But the main hold downs are still there and very secure, and when driving the top doesn't move at all. Several hundred miles in that config with no issue.
