Hardtop operation..... bikini top?

On the two and four door Broncos.... Would it be possible to remove the hardtop's rear cargo "clamshell" portion and then reinstall the panels over the seats? Similar to a Wrangler's bikini top.

^ judging by video in this thread, it looks like there are grooves in the clamshell that the front pieces fit in to. I would doubt you can do fronts without rear.

You can do the freedom panels only on the Jeep, not endorsed by Jeep tho. But why not get a sunshade? Wranglers also don't have a hard bikini top. I'm hoping the guys over at spiderweb and other places will be coming out with one for the Bronco.

I was just curious. The roof panels appear to fasten independently?

If you can remove just the middle section, it would be reasonable to hope that, on a 4 door at least, you could just have the front portion attached.

It looks to me that on the 4 door you can run without the shell.

man I really hoped they would do a white top and white interior. would look very cool to have white interior with rollbars no matter what the exterior color
