Hardtop recycling program (2-door)

I really want a soft top for my two door. Hoping I won’t have to wait too long for an aftermarket solution. So for those of us who are basically getting a hardtop to weatherproof our vehicles for delivery, what’s the environmentally-friendly/economical solution? Won’t be much of a market for ‘um since we’ll all have one. How long will you store it before taking it to the dump?

Ford, please add this to build and price. I will wait till 10/1/20 if needed.??

Yeah I know, but once I get the soft top I really will probably never put it back on. It’ll just take up the limited storage space I have.

Make sure you bring some Flexseal!

Don't just chuck it. Maybe in a few years the soft top will be standard on the 2 door and that hard top collecting dust behind the shed could be worth 1500-3000 smackers.

Does the 4 door use the same rear section of the roof as the 2 door? If so you might have a bigger market for selling it.
