The Kick speakers need the most improvement. Here's my choice the JL 6w3-4. The sound difference is mind blowing.

That's awesome!! I have C2-650s in the kick panel and they've been great, but damn...those must pound. Did they fit without modification? Assuming you're driving them with a separate amplifier?

They do bolt on but need two adapter rings stacked. Also had to trim the kick cover a bit and use the optional grill too. I care more about the sound than the looks. Yes soundstream 150watt amp on these only

if you run new ones on the head until you will not be happy. The stock ones are basically open air subs. They are 25 watt max and the head until is 15watt rms. If you donā€™t run an amp what you miss most certainly find is your new med basshas extremely low volume to the point you will not hear it over your other speakers. If your end game is better and fuller sound, run an amp to the 6.5ā€™s
How did you get so much info on the base component power levels? I'm looking for B&O details but haven't seen much.

Hi, WJWarBritton -

Question for you about the stock 6.5 kick-panel speakers. Are these just bass/mid-bass woofers or are they 2-way speakers with tweeters?

Iā€™m debating whether to replace the stock 6.5ā€˜s or just leave them for the low bass and replace the two sets of 4ā€ speakers.

The stock kick panel speakers are NOT 2-ways even with the B&O system.

I used Kicker KS all around and they fit fine. If you get them from Crutchfield they will provide all of the correct adapters. FYI, the KS sound a lot better than the CS.
