Sadly the lack of dealer communication seems to be pretty consistent unless you're one of the lucky one's with a responsive dealer. I've received more information from this forum than my dealer has ever provided. 99% sure the info received here is how I managed to get a VIN/ Build date.
How did you get a build date? From the tracker?

How did you get a build date? From the tracker?
It's mainly the process and what you choose on your build & reservation date is what increases your odds of getting a build date. I reserved on 7/14 and placed my order in March with a MIC top. Without this forum there is a good chance my order would be sitting/ unconverted. My dealer never called to tell me what my options where to improve my chances of getting a MY21. The only consession on my build I was wiling to make was on the top, as soon as I changed to a soft top, my order got scheduled for build. I was notified through Ford's ordering system. Good luck to you. My only advice is to be persistent :).

I finally contacted my dealer today because it’s been crickets from them since my order was placed. I’m one of the MIC tops that received the October email. I have a VIN and was rescheduled 3 times.

Just wanted to see if they had anymore information than me. When I called I found out that my salesman moved. I talked to another salesman who sounded as though he knew less than me about what had been going on with production. I ended up leaving a message for the manager because he apparently is the only one with access to Ford’s system.

Anyone else have no communication from their dealer or is it just me?
My dealer emailed me yes and has said mine is built and waiting to be shipped. He also called and left a vmail. Delivery is Oct 5-11

A few weeks back my salesman reached out to me informing me of the build restraints and if I want my Bronco in 22 I will need to drop the MIC and order the soft top. He also said with my reservation stamp I should be early on the 22 delivery.

When the 22 order window opens I will have a few options I will need to change to soft top and the other is paint they killed rapid red. I will change the color to cyber orange once I saw cyber orange in person I was changing my color anyways.

Cut my salesman out of the loop in January. I talk only to the manager and the Bronco specialist about my order. Once salesman was out of the loop communication hasn’t been an issue for me.

Reservation on July 2020 .. Order on January 2021... My dealer hasn't reached out to me one time.. I reached out to my dealer originally as soon as I saw the January order date was open in 2021, and then in October 2021 when I seen the change order date was open I had to reach out to them again because my options had been eliminated.. Antimatter Blue and roof racking.. my dealer seems very uninterested in my well being as a Bronco order holder, yet im sure he is keeping up on his order.. ;-(

My dealer never contacted me. I called them twice to make changes to my order was not a big deal. When ford e mailed me with a window sticker i went to dealer to arrange payment and what not and they had no clue what was going on. They asked me if i had made a reservation. When i showed a salesman the window sticker he took my phone and spoke to manager came back and said yes you so have one coming. I was like duh

I was assigned Ted Britt Ford in Chantilly VA. They contacted me exactly twice - 1) form email in July 2020 when I pre-ordered, and 2) after I left a very bad but deserved survey response after I picked up my Bronco in October. Since then, I called them to let them know about a leak in my MIC - I did receive one more call back from sales and was told someone from the service department would call to schedule an appointment, but I never got that call. I took it to another local dealer. I love the Bronco but I am stunned at the lack of respect / courtesy from the dealership.

My dealer is Hoffman Ford in Harrisburg PA; my contact there is one of our forum members.

I always get responses to my many emails, he reaches out whenever he needs to pass on information and has made the entire process easy for me. He just figured out a question I had for my updated '22 order and found a typo/mistake in the B&P.

I just don't think the dealer has much info to tell us. They are no where as interested in it as most of us are. They give me some attention if I'm at the dealership for some other reason but that's about it. I ordered a Maverick over a month ago and I still haven't received an order confirmation even though I've asked several times. Also want to purchase a Bronco Sport for the wife but basically crickets on that front as well. I'll patiently wait for my Base Bronco but as soon as a Maverick or Sport pops up in my desired configurations I'll purchase those elsewhere.
