Has anyone heard of current Constraint items?

Is there a window that the dealer and ford gives you to change items before the build? Is that what the preview status is?

Preview status means Ford is considering building yours and issuing you a VIN (At which point you can't change anything)

However preview doesn't mean anything because they can pass you over due to constraints. It's just letting you know you're being considered

They have the capacity to fulfill that percentage of open orders with those constraints at that given time.

The list is completely worthless without the other half of it: the percentage of orders in the USOB have those options as of today.

What would you be curious is how Ford approaches this.

For example say you have a Bronco that uses three of these. If you're ignoring reservation dates (which ford clearly is) it would be better to build 3 Broncos with only 1 constraint item, than 1 Bronco with 3.

So my real constraint is two door, not 2.7 or tow.

I wonder what percentage of the USOB is two doors at this point. It was 29% back in June, but a lot of two doors haven’t been built while a lot of four doors have, so I would think the percentage of unscheduled two doors is higher now.

It seems to me that ford started with the higher models and is going down. I have yet to see outer, black diamond, big bend scheduled.

Dead thread revivals seem to be happening more and more. I wonder if there is a weird algorithm that are pushing old threads up top on searches.
