Now that I've had it on for a bit I can comment on the noise. Definitely louder than the hard top, especially over 60 mph. It's tolerable though.

Agree. I find it likes to "pop" the windows or the top when you're on the highway behind someone a little too close and hit a bit of turbulent air. Or passing a truck is much louder.

Super nice though!

Finally installed mine. Directions said 1.5 hours, took me three days... But I like it. Had it on the highway at 75ish, wasn't too bad and noise level was what I expected. Nice thing was there was no flapping of the side windows. And the three velrco cross bar tie downs seemed to keep the top from fluttering too much.

I could see 1.5 hours after you've done a few and you have a helper the whole time, but it's very optimistic for the first time. It took me about 5-6 at a unrushed pace.

So have any of you with the Bestop been brave enough to take it through a contact car wash yet? I don't want to hand wash all summer, but I'm guessing it's going to leak like a seive around the edges and trash the windows.
I don't think I'll be trying. After a couple very hard rains, I find a little water on the washout floor. Looks to be coming in the driver side at the front corner, draining out the bottom of the A-pillar airbag and trickling down. I keep forgetting to stuff some weather strip in there and see if it helps. I can easily poke a finger in from the outside. that's what she said

I recall there being a water-from-the-airbag issue with some hard top Broncos too and there's a TSB for it? Maybe that's your root cause?

No leaks from the MIC top from hard rain or the brushless car wash for first 2 1/2 months of ownership 🤷‍♂️ , but I can check out the TSB, thanks.

If not, well good thing for washout interiors.

@Csommers6g It's the Shadow black, assuming you are referring to the paint color of the Bronco.

FYI, I took mine through a contact carwash and it didn't leak at all or scratch the windows. The blowers rattled the frame so bad I thought it was going to come apart. Of course YMMV so proceed at your own risk.
