Has Ford decided when MY22 begins for the Bronco?

The email from Ford further explaining the delay and providing the April 8 th deadline for summer orders also informs that additional colors, roofs, editions and options will be available in the MY22. As a geezer, the new car model year means September to me. Does anyone have actual knowledge as to what Ford is using as their start date for the MY22 Bronco? Seems my desired model isn’t affected by the issues plaguing the builds, and I am not really concerned about the possibility of new options,editions,colors etc. Except if they added the power seat option for two door models. I figure there would be a pretty good chance my Bronco would be here by July. Id just like to know what date Ford is using to determine the MY22, before I stay the course or request a delay. December is the MY22 changeover. Not sure on exact dates.

They will shut down production in December to start MY22.

I heard theyre going to roll out communication of it sometime this summer around july, and then mid to late fall is the transition. But at this point who knows.

I doubt we will see the traditional MY start date for some time. Next year they will be building out MY22 most of the year. Which doesn't leave much time to develop MY23 early. If they build them fast enough you could see MY24 during Q3 MY23...with the popularity it will make it hard for Ford to catch up with new model years...

My only concern about MY21/22 is that apparently they are discontinuing AMB, the color of my choice, for MY 2022. I have a second day reservation, if Ford cannot give a 2nd day reservation holder a MY 2021, that would say alot about how badly Ford fucked this whole Bronco thing up. JMO.
