Seabiscuit. Fast horse, made history, broke records, changed the game. All things I expect to do in the first 12 months. Also, CBISCT fits on a license plate. I was considering “Citation” because it’s both a famous horse’s name, and a traffic reference, but I don’t know if a license plate that read CITATN would be bad juju or not...

I started off with “Blue” in reference to the Blue stitching in the BD and the fact that the raptor from Jurassic World helped buy me my condos, but later moved to Billie. Fond memories of listening to Billie Holiday with my grandma before she passed years ago and kept the “blues” element going with a different twist. Also seemed a fun play on Billy goat which was a nice layer. I’ve been considering changing again to Rocinante after Don Quixote’s steed (one definition of which could be taken as “work horse”) and also the ship from The Expanse, and I like it a lot but Rocinante the horse was kind of broken down like the old knight himself and that seems like maybe some bad mojo to put on my Bronco. So I looked into the origin of Billie and learned it’s a derivation of Wilhelmina which loosely translates to “The Determined Protector.” Yeah. I think that’ll do nicely. Maybe the middle name can be Rocinante/Roci...

And now to go read through all the other posts on this thread to see if I’m the only nut who put this much (too much?) thought into this lol

Update: 4 pages in and I am unsurprised to have confirmed I’m in good company lol. Also the people going with Bucky made me think of The Winter Soldier and now “Winter” might be in the mix. Nah. If I went with Oxford white though that’d be it for sure.

My 4 door Jeep is called "Crawlers", the 2 door is "Crackerjack". Both named after fictional horses. My Bronco will be named "Todd" after one of my friends. The reason is that a different friend happened to order exactly the same Bronco as I did. We are both good friends with a set of twins named Doug and Todd. So we are naming our twin Broncos after them.

P.S. - It actually is the name for the Navy's Mascot. We are not that clever as a group... LOL

So help me understand, what in the world does a goat have to de with seafaring? Seems like calling a mustang a cobra. Is it a horse or a snake?
