Huntington Beach Ford has 7 Bronco on their lot. 6 are First Editions. (5-4 door & 1-2 door). All but one of them are 6 stickers. But they’re marking them up $50,000!!! Even the Badlands non/SAS was sporting a $30,000 markup
I’m so glad I paid MSRP. Couldn’t imagine paying that retype of mark up.

Curious if @Ford Motor Company has any comments about this. This may not be a direct result to the allocation formula change but this is an example of what the big dealers are doing to get max profit for whatever Broncos they are able to obtain and sell off the lot... all while many thousands of reservation holders are trying to wait patiently for their number to be drawn. How this dealer was able to get these six new Broncos as new (with five of them FEs) is another thing that should be questioned. Is this really OK, @Ford Motor Company ?

Don’t go buy your Ford with them. Fake orders and we’re all still waiting.
Not a M F'ing chance of that happening with me.

Z-plan here for me and I'm in the midwest.

I used to live across the street from HB Ford. Not even shocked, this is typical from them and they do it consistently without penalty. If I remember correctly, they had a bunch of stock Base / Big Bends which they lifted & put 35's on and were asking an insane amount for and they got buyers for all of them.

If you pay $50k over MSRP, you are guaranteed to lose money when you sell. Better bring a check for the full amount because what bank would finance a free $50k handout to the dealer? Absolutely crazy.

Yup, I used to work down the street from them, just a short drive from Orange County, where plenty of people will pay to be the first on the block with a new toy.

So how did they manage to get six FEs? I suspect they pulled the ole last second “bait and switch” on 6 different reservation holders. Seems very scummy to me.
Remember the so called cancel first editions they weren’t really canceled !

I see all these posts showing dealers adding ridiculous markups but does anyone know if people are actually buying the vehicles (not just the Bronco) at the increased price?

I never discussed price with my dealer when I ordered in February. There was no ADM and they gave me a fair allowance for my trade. It helps that my family and I have purchased many vehicles from them but that doesn’t seem to matter for others.

BTW, the dealer is Caskinette Ford in Carthage, NY.

funny, how a dealership has these but people got their FE orders canceled by Ford. Ford should pull any FE's that are sitting on dealer lots and offer the to FE reservation holders at MSRP. Ford should just be embarrassed by this
