Looks like you can now buy the Heavy-Duty Modular Bumper directly from Ford Performance.

Part No. M-17757-BM

LINK HERE

It seems you (or your dealer) can also now program your Bronco to have the OEM factory airbag configuration for the HD modular bumper, for those who may have already bought the bumper as a take-off from another Bronco.

Gotta admit that's actually a lot cheaper than I thought Ford would sell it for.
Yeah I won't lie, I was surprised by both the price and the fact it includes the front bash plate.

No option for the sensors though. (Edit—) But I guess if I had thought about it for 5 seconds longer... the majority of the upper trims that come with those sensors also come with the HD modular bumper standard. So it makes sense.

About what I was thinking, that's a hell of a kit for a grand.

Can someone fill in a few gaps for me as I'm not clear on how to interpret the disclaimers.
Sensors - it can't fit ANY sensors or just not sensors specifically FOR the HD Mod bumper? I ask because I have the "capable" bumper and would want to transfer those over - is that supported or not?
Fog lights - it says not compatible with fog lights on standard base bumper. Would it work with the fogs from the capable bumper?

I'd always assumed I'd go aftermarket when it was time to upgrade from the capable on my BL but am also surprised at the pricing - but not clear on what, if anything, can be xfer'd over to the Mod.

Not certain but based on the pics, I suspect the sensor thing is due to the Mod bumper not drilled for the sensor holes - this should be easily resolved by drilling some 1&1/8” holes to accommodate existing sensors (if you have them).

Fog lights aren’t compatible because based on the shape and size of your existing fogs, they won’t fit the design of the Mod bumper. You should however be able to buy fogs that fit the bumper and reuse your fog light harness & switch functionality once installed.

Is it possible to just buy the Bumper Face Bar Front with parking sensors separately & use the rest of the pieces from the kit? Still seems cheaper than piecing together a modular bumper if you have sensors & acc.

I can’t verify the exact part number - but I see no reason this idea would not work. You could always order the parts individually and put it together, and this kit just puts all of that in one box for you

In a other post Ducati pointed out that the 6 mounting bolts are different for the plastic bumper, than the bolts used on the capable and modular. They are not 6 or 7" long and not shown in the photo. I've had all 3 bumpers on my rig and know the work with all three, but am somewhat interested in the difference.

Plastic bumper: W505442-S439
Capable bumper: W500741-S439

Another thing to watch out for that may be a non-issue (I honestly don’t know):

The parking sensors themselves are in a physically different location on the modular bumper than the capable bumper. So the wiring harness from capable bumper may not line up the sensor locations from the HD modular bumper.

Again, it may ultimately be a non-issue, but I know there isn’t a ton of slack on that wiring harness, and I wouldnt be surprised if that harness requires some modifications/extensions.

If someone has done the swap already feel free to chime in.

I did a swap from capable to modular. The harness did require me to extend for the two outer sensors. Additionally i had to buy two right angle sensors due to clearance issues with the modular bumper and the straight sensors.
