HELP! 100+ degrees and soft top latch is stuck!

Ok, finally had a second person, so my daughter and I both pushed down hard on the top where the brackets lock in, and shook the top a bit while I also pushed down on the grey latch…suddenly it went smooth as butter and up went the top.

I‘m guessing I may have some top adjustments to do to make sure it’s better aligned. Putting the aftermarket rear top struts on this weekend so I’ll mess around with that while I’m at it.
