No, I'm saying that is when it was reported stolen in MI according to the Been Verified report that @flip posted. It's a few pages down, check it out.
That's why it didn't come back as stolen with all the checks at time of you buying it.
Yes and no I imagine the dealer and ford had something to do with it. I dont know anyways. I know someone talked to someone thats about it. Didnt know that though but makes sense

This is quite a fascinating thread........
Stick around, buddy, it probably won't be the last. There was one thread where a guy rolled his Bronco over in a deadly accident and members on here analyzed the photo to death -- trying to accuse him of making the whole thing up.

Not to say they're aren't trolls out there but still lol smh

I know I'm slow, but this doesn't add up. Second thing in the 2nd VIN he lists the 9th character is a letter. It was my understanding that needed to be a numerical character. Most VINS I've seen ar 1FMEE5DP6xx....
9th digit is a #

"The VIN was cloned. That’s when they take a VIN from a legal vehicle and use it to hide a stolen vehicle," Lematire said.

Mazda Canada said the dealership refunded the entire cost of the vehicle to Crocker, including past loan payments and provided him with a loaner vehicle.

Maybe OP should contact the Seller so he knows the Braptor was stolen and he can be a good Seattle condo owning citizen and return the $75,000 in unmarked $100 bills.

I don’t know if it’s just me but the reactions on this forum get really really strange at times. Best of luck to OP, this thread and the whole situation are a cluster

I agree to what everyone is saying and the 6-10 attorneys I have contacted all responded no and its a conflict of interest. I am trying to go more towards cooperate is what they are not understanding and or make this public to ford. They turn me down as its a conflict of interest which I believe means they already work for the local dealers. Which is not their fault. Its mine.

I agree to all saying to good to be true. But man when you go to a DMV together and print you an AZ title on the spot with the VIN I believed to be true in my name you figure its safe. The bronco had the scan codes and everything. The guy is a John Doe to me but the lady on the title apprantly comes back as a criminal after the fact. Gina Marks

Heres the kicker now as well that vin (which I thought is mine) also got delivered 1-2 weeks ago literally about the same time when it all came to shine when they tried listing it. His carfax now I can only imagine is now started and his brand new 2023 Bronco raptor now has an owner (me in Arizona and 7k miles on it off the lot).

I have photos of the guy - his old plate - photos of the original title and registration he had

If anyone has an attorney that will actually listen to me (AZ) Do contact me PM
I was an Auto Theft Detective in Arizona for 15 years. The “Marks” “family” is a well known gypsy family that frequents AZ and moves on to other places when the heat turns up on them. They always circle back though. Gina Marks sounds really familiar. The family is always involved in vehicle scams but used to be a lot of sweetheart scams where one of the women would find an old guy (typically in early stages of dementia) and pretend to be their girlfriend until the old man has no money or credit and then they’d disappear. They would get these old guys to buy vehicles that they would turnaround and sell. Arizona has pretty good facial recognition software that could help identifying the male. I know a few people that may be able to help as well. I have a few really good friends that are still on the auto theft task force.

Seems like an awful amount of personal data posted in those documents. Not sure that is the smartest thing to do.

Not that this is related or helpful in the slightest, but I do find the level of detail in these forged documents extremely interesting. The "Rebecca Hanson" name looks to be the actual homeowner at the address listed in AK. Actually, pretty easy to find this person through a FB search, curious if the Drivers License ID is the actual ID for the real Rebecca Hanson or not.

Regardless, been following this thread all day and just gets more and more interesting. Hopefully some of the sources folks have posted here can help track down these guys!

Greetings everyone I am Nick from Phoenix and I once had a bronco raptor but I am in a tough situation currently and figured I would try one last shot of help. No attorney is helping me , private investigator , or ford corporate. I am currently out 75k and my Bronco raptor that I feel I deserve back. I am not new to forums or the truck world I come from a land over at tacomaworld.com over 5-6 years now. Geico my insurance company is trying to help me but not getting much (ive been completely transparent with them and they couldn't believe the story but are fairly invested). Just looking for SOME help from the community

Everyone bare with me and take this thread down if need be. Please no insults im already screwed out the money anyway

STORY:
I purchased a new ish ford bronco raptor (2023 model) off craigslist (March 27). About 10 days or so after purchase I realized I needed a truck (April 11). I traded it into the Chapman Ford (The Bronco) for a new Ford raptor. I had it for 10 days. I get a call Tuesday April 18 from the dealer to immediately bring it back (new car in my possession and registered to me now). Well the thing was stolen (the bronco I bought) BUT from the Ford factory (from the plant). They have over 4 million dollars in Broncos mustang and F150s missing publicly on the news. Now when i bought this Bronco it was a cash deal seller wanted cash only. I do my due diligence I run the carfax comes back clean, I check the door vin to the title it's a match. I check the car vin to the window its a match. Final step the next day I tell him meet me at the DMV he meets me at the DMV. We go in with his title it clears boom I have a Arizona title to this bronco my name the exact vin everything. All is good. Well now I am out the vehicle I purchased and 75 thousand dollars (from the bronco). The Ford dealer is giving it back to Ford. Apparently Ford already got their insurance payout (from the lost bronco). I am out my brand new raptor I also bought as I was forced to return it and the Bronco confiscated. The original vin does not come back stolen either when searched in a national database. I believe Ford corporate should be held liable for losing over 70-80 vehicles from their factory plant? I had to speak to the police and prove I didn't originally take the vehicle and everything.

Over 4.8 million in theft off their lot and of all people I had one in my possession unknowing.

Second I have lots of documentation and photos of person who sold it to me but not their real name / was a cash deal / and alot of paper work saved still with me (records from alaska and California)

The vin I had: 1FMEE5JR6PLB12341

THE REAL VIN IT WAS AND A 2022 ACTUALLY: 1FMEE5JRXNLA50665

Its still sitting locked up at the dealer today. I believe the vehicle is now useless and in reality would be great to just have it back and enjoy it with a branded title till it dies.
I'm trying to figure this out...

First, you introduced yourself as Nick, So Who is Rebecca Hanson in the paperwork? Is that the supposed registered seller??? If so, You also mention that you bought from "HIM" Who is "Him" and WHO is WHO in the pictures? Is the man YOU, or the seller?... Also, who is the woman in the front seat... Is that You, Nick, Rebecca Hanson?... I'm hoping you didn't buy a car, registered to Rebecca Hanson, from some strange man for....$75K Cash. Just those along should be red flag after red flag.....

Also, in the beginning of the story you mention that the Braptor was stolen at the plant, but the Real VIN# records you provided show it was at a dealer for a couple of months... It was not stolen at the plant. So which is it? Why mention vehicles stolen from the plant if this car was at a dealer?

Also, its odd that it would take the dealer a full month to report it as stolen. If this was a used white Ford Taurus, I could understand it. But this VIN shows It was at the dealer as of 3/18, but the stolen vehicle report was not made 4/18... there is no way that a missing Bronco Raptor went unnoticed for a month.

What am I missing ?

It's stolen merchandise. You are lucky they didn't implicate you. They have had a rash of vehicles being stolen out of the lot through the fence. Your best bet is to contact the local prosecuter and maybe they can get a warrant for arrest. In the end you will never get your money back. There are multiple Vin tags in the vehicles that don't match dash. Sorry brother.
