Help Identify this part?

Can anyone help me identify this part? Its a metal cover plate directly under the glove box. Sometimes passengers feet kick this plate and knock it loose. What is the plate protecting?

This is in a '22 4Dr, wildtrak.

Its the bracket that hold the IPMB if you have 360 camera. without 360 camera it does nothing.

Awesome! Thanks! I think the left bolt is just loose, so hopefully i can just tighten it and problem solved! It has a crazy rattle right now that's like nails on a chalkboard while driving.
