I have a 2022 outerbanks and can not get the spots of the rear fender flares!! I tried everything from bug tar remover to rubbing compound and everything thing in between! I seen solutions for the black plastic flares not really any for factory painted flares! Any advice is appreciated. God bless America and Happy safe 4th of july🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🥃🍔🌭🍺

Home Depot, paint dept, pick up a box of TSP. Add to water, sponge area. Works great on oils, (organic materials). Wont harm paint.

I was getting some of the same spots. I used this. It came right off and has not come back.

Can you still buy real TSP at HD in New Jersey? They only sell the garbage phosphate free phosphate here.

Easiest thing is to bring it to a car detailer. Might cost few bucks more but guys at a reputable shop know what they are doing and will take care of that.

Yes, that's where I picked mine up. Back in the day we could by 30lb bags. Now (years ago) we are limited to a box. Still nice to keep around. Mostly use it on my shop rags (oily).

I had something similar on our Alfa, it was from the brakes, so i bought a automotive rust remover product and that removed the spots-just a thought
