HELP! What to do: Damaged Windshield when Delivered to Dealer?

My bronco was delivered to my dealer yesterday - YEAH!

However, it showed up with a cracked windshield - see attached.

They can have their body shop replace it - but is there any risk / issue I should also be aware of with this resolution? Any help suggestions would be huge help

Well leaving it unrepaired forever would be less than ideal. Is there some other party you’d prefer to have replace your windshield?

Shouldn't be any risks. Have them replace it before you take delivery.

Get it replaced under warranty before you take delivery. Otherwise it will hit your insurance.

Windshield replacement is done all the time. It might not be the last time you have to replace it...It shouldnt be a big deal.

I saw those as well, definitely looks like it. You can see the metal of the window frame bent down, something substantial hit it during transit.

Your choice. Have them replace/repair or walk away.

It looks like something was dragged across the leading edge. I would be more concerned with the top and the other body work more than the glass.

The vehicle is the dealer's prior to you taking ownership. It is their responsibility to make sure the vehicle is in acceptable condition prior to you taking ownership.

I’m guessing there isn’t a well-defined process at this point. Could be forever before a replacement can be built for you. But maybe they have other customers that have abandoned their orders and had a similar build to you?

No, but I would be asking the dealer what can be done. I would be more than pissed.
