No, but I would be asking the dealer what can be done. I would be more than pissed.

Dealer’s responsibility to replace. Vehicle isn’t even yours yet. They’ll replace it, nothing to be worried about. Some of the JK/JL guys go through a windshield per year.

If you walk because they need to replace the windshield I highly doubt they’ll cut you in line for a new build. It’s an easy fix. Might take some time to get the part though.

We would all be surprised to find out how often something like this happens and it is repaired before delivery without anyone knowing.

Since it was delivered that way it’s on Fords dime to replace it. Ford will charge the carrier. Then Ford will reimburse the dealership.

As I see it, you have two options.

A) have them fix it

B) ask them to have their rep put in a priority order for a replacement Bronco. As long as you've likely waited, this might be the best option if you are expecting perfection. I certainly wouldn't mind them putting in new glass but paint work (if necessary) is less than ideal.

I expected the $1,495 delivery fee would come with insurance. Have the Dealer fix EVERYTHING and then they can charge it back to the carrier or Ford. Do Not take it now and agree to bring it back at a later date for those repairs.

While I agree with the shrugging of the shoulders and moving on, 'accidents' are no such thing. They are the result of negligent driving or, very, very rarely, unforseeable mechanical failure (a vanishingly small percentage of the time).

My bronco was delivered to my dealer yesterday - YEAH!

However, it showed up with a cracked windshield - see attached.

They can have their body shop replace it - but is there any risk / issue I should also be aware of with this resolution? Any help suggestions would be huge help

You should refuse delivery and just order a new one! 😁

Maybe by then Ford will be able to transport to your dealership without a cracked windshield. 🤷‍♂️

Uh, no. This thing could’ve been on a car carrier, facing forward. Some large projectile comes at the car carrier. No negligent driving necessary.

I don't know what options you have on the car but just make sure all the electronics attached to it work properly

do they even have them?

oh and don't sign anything until its fixed!
