I bought 4 SSC2, a pair for each side and want the backlight and fog on switch for each function. The lights came with a 4 pin DT. I know the blue and yellow wires handle the lighting functions with the red and black being power and ground.

I have a auxbeam 6 input switch. Do I just connect the yellow and blue to their respective switches after crimping the extension? What about the ground and power? The auxbeam box is already powered and grounded via the battery.

Assuming you have the DD heavy duty 4 pin harness its got a built in relay.. so the red would be the main power, black main ground, yellow the main beam 12v to the relay and the blue the backlight 12v to the relay. To me the HD harness complicates things when you're trying to use your own Auxbeam switch. All that said the picture below is how you'd use both I guess with the blue and yellow wires going to your auxbeam switch of choice and the red/black going to the battery/ground. If you want to use only your auxbeam for power then you'd just run your own wiring with 3 pin dt's

I do not have the heavy duty harness, just the 4 pin pig tail that came with the light.

So to make sure I'm not wrong, all I need to do is run the blue and yellow wire to the Auxbeam and be good to go?

Ahh in that case then I'd run the black to ground, red to your main beam switch of choice and blue to your backlight switch of choice and disregard yellow

That's perfect, i haven't seen that one. I can probably t-tap the main fog function to the harness of my SS3 that is connected to my factory fog light switch and route the backlight to my aux beam. Lets see how that will work out.

Where are you installing these?

We sell a harness for you right here, you'll want 2 of these: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/crysta...arness-2x-dt-4-pin-connectors-diode-dynamics/

Had the lights been purchased from us we would have included these harnesses free. So next time ya need lights, look us up! We're one of Diode Dynamics largest stocking dealers and always have great deals.

But our harness plugs into the lights (1 pair per harness) and gives you 3 wires. One for ground, one for main power and one for back-lighting. Real easy

I gave up and and bought these from you lol. I ran the wires and only the main turned on. I think I should have ran the main power to the battery and the blue and yellow to the aux beam.. Ah well.

Our harness makes it easy. Plug and play. Make sure to buy your next set of lights from us. As I said, you would have gotten these harnesses FREE if you had ordered the lights from us. AND your order would have shipped the same day you placed it from us :)

But... when did you place your order? I don't see any orders for these going to NM within the last 24 hours in our system

Yeah, I should have. I already had SSC3s and one pair of SSC2s from my previous truck so I just bought one pair.

I bought them Wednesday, #38915. You guys shipped fast!

I also bought the DD reverse light kit from you guys.. It's so nice.

Ohh you ordered our triple harness. You'll just have an extra set of DT2 pin wires on there you won't be using.
