Would you happen to know if the dealer code on the window sticker?
The dealer code was not on the window sticker but it is on your build sheet the dealer would have sent you to confirm the order is correct. Top right titled sales code mine was CA followed by 4 numbers.

Ford bronco customer assist. says they can no longer track the broncos by rail. Anyone have any suggestions on how to find out where it is other than the dealer?

I called the tracing line for Norfolk Southern and my status has been the same since noon yesterday. I realize it may take a while via rail, but I was wondering if there are any folks who may insight on the status "Intermediate Arrival at Ft. Wayne Indiana." Norfolk Southern does not have a hub in Ft. Wayne ID, so it could be switching rail carriers?
Hi. Im also in KC. Bronco was built this week. Can you share with me how long it took to get your car shipped and received?

For all of you that are waiting on your Bronco being built and want to track it.

Here are some good links…

Required Reading: Bronco Build Process - Window Sticker, Blend Date, Production Rotation Number, Built & Shipped Emails, Delivery Date Estimates & More
https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...ed-emails-delivery-date-estimates-more.24987/

To the Ford site to check on status
https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/

To view your Window Sticker, add your VIN at the end
https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=

To the Ford site that populates your Modules being turned on (this lets you know it’s actually built at the factory
https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt

And lastly to see if it’s scheduled on the Convoy (Truck not Rail) to your Dealer!
https://palsapp.com

If you are going by rail, it’s more complicated…

First you will need the rail car letters and numbers. It is on the visibility report or DORA which is from the dealership. You MAY be able to get it from the SVT people but they seem often in a cranky mood and may tell you to get it from the dealer.

There are two major rail companies.

CSX is everything east of the mississippi
UP is everything west of the mississippi

But they all start out on CSX so once they have it in their system they will follow it all the way.

So, how do you track your truck on a railcar?

First and most important. Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

NS Norfolk Southern
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked.

Please let me know if there are any others and I'll add. That way it'll all be in one place!
Or maybe make it a sticky.

Michael

Hi Michael. Do you know how to check the VIN of a Bronco that has already been built? I recently purchased a 2021. I bought it used from a Jeep dealership. I knew it was a higher trim as it has power electric seats but there is no indication of trim anywhere on the vehicle. My local Ford dealer looked up the VIN and said it's a Wildtrak, but I would like hard evidence of that. I just talked to four people at Ford (two in Marketing and two in Customer Relations), and they all sounded like they barely even knew what a Bronco is. The last lady told me I can purchase a copy of the window sticker from Fordshowparts.com (a third party). Really?! The company that built the vehicle can't give me proof of what I bought?

have you tried scanning the QR code on the windshield.. I think that pulls up the vehicle and the options.. I read that somewhere. I could be wrong.

Yes, the official way to get a copy is from Ford Show Parts, they are the Official "Historian".

As for figuring it out by looking at the inside trim colors, seat colors and stitching, amount of buttons on the dash and so forth it's going to get you close. Paying $50 to be sure is it worth it.

So, I got my railcar number from my dealer. Its a Norfolk Southern number. I tried calling to trace it and the response was "There is no tracing information for TTGX####". Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know what that means? I was told my bronco was on the train and moving by my dealer but we all know how that goes....

My Bronco is going to Nashville by rail. The NS number was no help. I found out calling CSX and following the steps below gave me the info I was looking for.

Your number will be 4 letters and 6 numbers.

Call 1-800-235-2352

Press 1

Key in the 4 letters for the car initial. For instance TTGX would be 81 81 41 92 (First number is the where the letter falls into the keypad, second number is the place within)
-----Enter 81 81 41 92 for your letters-----

You will be prompted for the rail car number, key in the 6 digit number.
-----Enter your 6 digit rail car ----------

Say "done" at the prompt or , ,
Listen for the update
