Here's the VIN #001 Bronco Raptor (in Code Orange) to be Auctioned at Barrett Jackson

Here's a look at the VIN #001 Bronco Raptor which will soon be auctioned off for charity at Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale Arizona.

100% percent of the auction price from the Ford Bronco VIN 001 will benefit National Forest Foundation and Outward Bound, which are part of Ford’s new Bronco Wild Fund mission to connect people to the outdoors. The total sale price of the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 VIN 001 will benefit JDRF’s efforts against type 1 diabetes.

I like everything but the fender flares. No idea why Ford couldn’t make the metal part flare out more and use less plastic like on the F150 Raptor. Looks like someone cut a garbage can and bolted it on to a Bronco

As in previous VIN 001 auctions at least for Ford anyway the car that crosses the auction block isn't usually the actual VIN 001 but a final prototype used as a stand in and the winning bidder gets to specify the order how they want. Essentially the car at the auction is a mannequin.

Love this color. The Grille looks better here than in a lot of shots I have seen as well.
Great to see them sending #001 off to benefit a good cause as well.
Someone is going to get a valuable vehicle, be curious to see what it hammers down at.

Given it's been a thing for quite awhile with either VIN 001 or other custom editions with the direct proceeds going straight to the stated charities, such as JDRF, and in this case the National Forest foundation and Outward Bound after the hammer falls at the auction. On these charity auctions the auction house doesn't even take a percentage of the proceeds.

Great looking Raptor, pretty sure Ford said it's just a representative of the actual Vin #1, which will be built in May. The winner of the auction gets to spec it out to their liking.
