Here's something for Team RR!
I hate to tell you, but if you wait until the vehicle is on the lot, you're not getting the Bronco. This is a common issue and it will take time to resolve. My dealer did all the right things. Paperwork was all correct and COVP was all completed on time. But I had no certificate. The sales manager had to contact his Ford rep and it took about a month, but the issue was resolved. The vehicle does not have to be on the lot. That has nothing to do with it. Your certificate should be in Smart Vincent. They resolved my issue back in March and my certificate has been automatically renewing since. My Heritage is finally in production and set to be here end of July. I have a new issue where it's not letting my certificate be applied to my vehicle. The dealership is working to resolve that now. Don't wait until your Bronco arrives. It's too late then.I've got the same story as you. Original order in 2021 (Badlands), switched to Heritage first thing in October. Ford doesn't see anything in system for my certificate. Dealer says they don't look into it until the vehicle is on the lot. I'm sure this will be fun to deal with during financing.
Looks like a large percentage all “Redy”The really interesting thing to me is the idea that some of the regular heritage editions might end up being as rare as -- or even rarer than -- the limited versions. For example, if they really are discontinuing race red for '24, how many will ultimately get produced, especially in two door? Hoping not too many as I don't really want to see my same vehicle all over the place.
For sure. But a big percentage of a very small number overall!Looks like a large percentage all “Redy”
It will be a small number this year for sure. I just hope the continue the Heritage with the same parts next year at a higher volume even if different colors. Having a low volume vehicle may bring high returns later in life if kept up but finding parts becomes a challenge. I owned a first generation SVT F-150 for 25 years. Trying to find nos parts was a challenge. For sure. But a big percentage of a very small number overall!
Thanks for the heads up! I will continue to keep on them. My order is through Chapman and my concerns on the issue have been communicated a few times now. I’m not the first with the exact same missing certificate issue with them.I hate to tell you, but if you wait until the vehicle is on the lot, you're not getting the Bronco. Going to be a no from me.Is anyone thinking the fender flares would look better painted white on the HE Broncos? I am hesitant to start planning modficiations before I have the vehicle. But, especially with the other white details on HEs, chaning the fender flares to white would look pretty sweet.
It's not for me, but I think if you are going to do it, you need to paint the bumpers white too, like the OG's in the top pic.Is anyone thinking the fender flares would look better painted white on the HE Broncos? It’s one of the few exterior modifications I’m thinking about. I’m hoping some enterprising person will start offering them at some point. Is anyone thinking the fender flares would look better painted white on the HE Broncos? Since the HEs use the fender flares that are squared off versus the rounded ones for non-HE Broncos, the quantity counts may not justify an after-market supplier to produce them. Best bet might be to wrap or paint a set. I guess we'll know in time. It’s one of the few exterior modifications I’m thinking about. Probably right, but we shall see.Since the HEs use the fender flares that are squared off versus the rounded ones for non-HE Broncos, the quantity counts may not justify an after-market supplier to produce them. Best bet might be to wrap or paint a set. I guess we'll know in time.
Looks like the old girl has stories to tell.Prepped for the HE. Sent the old girl home with its new owner today. Nice down payment for the new one.
