Nice - my salesman contacted me only once: to see if I still wanted it or if he could sell it to someone else. Your salesman better than mine.

Well I liked him from the get go... I showed up on the dealers lot and there were three salesman that were talking to each other.... I walked up and stopped about 10 feet from them. They acted like I wasn't even there. Considering how I presented (dressed, white beard etc.) I think they thought I did not belong on the new car lot and really should be over on the used car lot.... Finally a fourth salesman walked up, passed right by them and walked up to me. Friendly, helpful. He has been my man. It was funny watching the others slink off when I told him what I wanted and I would be paying cash....

Whereupon he hopped out of the car, paid the salesman and asked him to repair the car and have it sent to his hotel."

It's here... well it's at the dealership. Had a chance to test drive it and get some of the paperwork started. Got there 30 mins before they close. Saw on the tracker it was 'Final Preparation' and skipped the 'Shipping' step. Someone was already sharking around it when we got there.

I keep saying to not pay too much attention to the trackers. Especially after it hits actual production.

I am not personally tracking this... My salesman calls me every Friday with an update.
First week he said it was just movement around the yard that he was able to see. Then he said it had been loaded on a train car but the car was not moving. This week it was the train is on it's way and is currently showing in Indiana. Maybe he is making this up but it is like he has a gps locator on it. He tells me he is tracking about 8 different vehicles right now.
Also... He calls me. I don't have to call him. I like this guy.

I don’t know the name of the computer program, but I was at the dealer last Saturday for something else at the service department. Thought I would walk over to sales and ask about the Bronco. Bam! He pulled it right up and showed me right on his computer screen. A GPS map thing where he could see where it was sitting in a parking lot next to the plant. And, even read the name of the worker dude that parked it there.

When mine was at the dealer it went from built to final preparation in the same day as it was at the dealer.

It is the first Non-Sport Heritage edition that they've received. Salesperson thought it may have been the only one ordered, but I'm sure she really doesn't know that. I know when I ordered it last October it was the first one the Dealership had put in.

Test drive was great and my wife said 'I wasn't so sure about the whole 'white' thing, but it looks great in person'. She was actually really frustrated we didn't have time to get the deal done and just get it off the lot ASAP.

I went to our local dealer to see if the one I saw earlier in the week had been sold. They have it all PDI’d and sitting in the premium outside corner spot. No ADM on the sticker and no sold sign on the mirror either! If mine wasn’t built this week and if it had two fewer doors, I’d be all over it!

I think its common for when you take delivery you slow down on the fourm. Now that I have the Bronco, I find that I'm not lurking as often looking for the slightest bit of info of the unreleased trim(s).
