Thanks. I just found another thread about converting them. Hadn’t thought about it until I read it, but since there’s no rear door, the seats need to have the manual’s folding mechanism for passenger egress.

Pretty sure that just ruined a deal on my wife getting a Yellowstone HEL.
Crisis averted! It’s back on! She drove the BB with manual seats again this morning and thinks she can live with them.

This dealer can get their HEL to mark-up, but I cannot get scheduled.... 😣 :ROFLMAO:

The Bronco will probably be the last new vehicle I buy. It's easier for me to get Porsche GT3 PTS allocation than it is to get a bronco VIN it feels like.

I think its common for when you take delivery you slow down on the fourm. Now that I have the Bronco, I find that I'm not lurking as often looking for the slightest bit of info of the unreleased trim(s).
Not me I’m still on all the time! Even before I put in another order for the HE. I may have a problem…

I got off when I bought my BB, and am back to being active now that I put in the order for the HE.
have you heard anything from your dealer about the possibility of yours getting scheduled soon?
No and it sounds like they may not have been totally forthright on allocation when I placed my order so who knows. They did they say I’m the highest priority HE they have though so who knows.

After a couple of days in the rail yard, got the call late Wednesday night, hopped a flight next afternoon, salesman picked me up from the airport, drove it back 5 hours, got in at 2am.

I still can’t believe my luck.

Looks great! Congratulations. After seeing one in the flesh last week. It confirmed my opinion the HLE was for me. Happy Trails!

That is my absolute favorite look for a bronco that the factory has made so far. Damn that is pretty!

It is a beautiful truck. In a perfect world, I'd be getting a 2 door version of the limited. I love the robin's egg blue. But what has this world come to??? You can't believe your luck and only had to pay $5k over sticker. Only $5k over sticker. Ugh. I just can't do it.

Exactly, ADMs are a supply and demand thing I get it but if people refused to pay them they wouldn't exist.

And that would be why he has one and you do not.... I respect that you would not pay that much. I am curious though as to why you are even purchasing a Bronco. You could argue that they are overpriced at MSRP.... But then other people will argue that the are a steal at MSRP.

John Stuart Mills and the invisible hand.... Capitalism. It is like going to an auction; whom ever is willing to pay the most gets the item.

I think he is lucky at 5 over MSRP based on the supply and demand. The value is not determined by a random number the manufacture guessed the value to be. The value is what the market will bear.

A 1970 Hemi-Challenger sold at Mecum Auctions this past Spring For over $1,000,000.00. Retailed for a little over $5,000.00 in 1970. Worth it?? To someone obviously.

I’m not suggesting any new Bronco will go up in value. My point is there is a lot of “coin” on this planet with owners of that currency looking to spend it on what they want.

Welcome to 2023 folks.

Didn't the first edition Bronco build number 001 just sell for about 1.6 mil? It would be really cool if the limited had build numbers on their console plate. xxx/1966

Because I think some people overpay for these things, you wonder why I am even purchasing a Bronco? I'm not sure what that even means. Im getting my Heritage for $5k under MSRP with price protection and private offer. I'd love a HEL but don't think the upgrades are worth an extra $30k. Just my opinion. You can pay whatever you want for your Bronco. That's your business. It doesn't change the fact that some of these are grossly overpriced. A 4 door HEL with a $5k markup puts it around $75k I imagine. It's a beautiful vehicle, but I don't feel it's worth that kind of money. Ford originally priced the Bronco very competitively. But they've been jacking the prices up at an alarming rate. A rate that far outweighs inflation. Ford and many of its dealers are engaging in price gouging, plain and simple. Stellantis is doing the same thing but even worse. Stellantis has raised prices faster than any other manufacturer. That's why a local dealer has 130 $75,000 Wrangler 4xes sitting on the lot. It's why Ford has recently had to cut the Lightning prices by $10k. Things are already starting to turn and many manufacturers will feel the pain when they do.

So you're buying your Bronco as an investment? Are you purchasing it and immediately placing it into storage with the hope of selling it at auction for a massive profit someday? Or maybe you have the kind of cash where you can drop $75k on a vehicle and then bash it up on the rocks.

I’m in the capitalist camp. If someone wants to pay whatever, that’s their choice and my choice not too. Everyone seems to bitch about ADM, but nobody seems to mind getting extra money for theirs if they want to sell it. I sold my 25 year old SVT Lightning for more than I paid for it but less than I probably could have gotten. I thought it was a fair price. Both parties were happy with the outcome. That’s all you can ask in my opinion. I sold my last house for 30k over asking, they were ecstatic to get it for that.

That all being said, I didn’t buy the Heritage as an investment. I don’t think of vehicles as appreciating assets. We will see what it’s worth in 25 years if I’m still around! Hopefully it will still be around too!
